Austin Sherman is responsible for covering and supporting the firm's property & casualty, life & health, managed care, insurance distribution, and asset & wealth management clients.
Prior to joining Sherman & Company, Mr. Sherman was an analyst in the Technology, Media, Marketing, and Information Services group at Canaccord Genuity, where he supported the firm's sell-side investment banking efforts for private equity-backed and founder-owned businesses. Mr. Sherman also completed summer internships with Sherman & Company and AmWINS, a leading global specialty insurance distributor.
Mr. Sherman graduated Summa Cum Laude from High Point University with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and a minor in Economics. He maintains securities licenses for Series 63 and 79.
