Meet Our Team

Elizabeth Golden is responsible for sourcing and supporting banking transactions and building relationships with key corporate clients.

She began her career with Oxygen Insurance Brokers in London, and also worked with Liberty Mutual Group before joining Sherman & Company in 2010 where she concentrated on the firm’s insurance technology and services clients, as well as property & casualty insurers, and MGAs. While at Sherman & Company for a decade, she worked on more than 20 successful M&A transactions.

Prior to rejoining Sherman & Company in 2022, Ms. Golden was a managing director with Sandbox Insurance, a venture capital firm focused on healthcare and insurance.  She was also the founding principal of E. R. Golden Advisory, a growth consulting firm exclusively focused on the insurtech industry, with a client base that ranged from start-ups to large, public entities.

Ms. Golden received a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia and an M.B.A. from Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.
